Have the Mind of Christ

Sermon Series

Christians are called to be like Christ, letting His character form within us through the Holy Spirit. We’re literally commanded to think and feel the way Jesus does! Philippians 2:5 tells us to, “Have this mind among yourselves which is yours in Christ Jesus.” Yet so few Christians actually do. No wonder Christianity is struggling in America!

As we seek to live and minister in God’s will in the Turbulent ’20s, we must begin by actively reshaping our thoughts and feelings to match those of Jesus. No excuses, ifs, ands, or buts! To help us understand and have the mind of Christ for ourselves, we’ll begin 2022 by exploring several of the emotions, attitudes, priorities, and practices of Jesus described in the Gospel of Mark.
