- To Bless = to praise God

- God’s Compassion toward us is demonstrated through mercy and grace at the cross (verses 3, 4, 12, 13, 10)
- God understands our brokenness and failing, yet shows mercy through Christ (verses 14-16, 5)
- Praise God for His Steadfast Love
- God’s steadfast love is not fickle or fleeting, it is based in who He is
- 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 portrays God’s steadfast love toward us – embrace it and demonstrate it to others
