Our exploration through the Beatitudes continues with, “Blessed are the Meek”. The true meaning of meekness has become lost in our culture, but it is essential that we recapture it if we are to be like Jesus, who called Himself meek. If spiritual poverty describes the way we think about ourselves in relation to God, meekness describes how to apply that knowledge to other people and situations in life.
