Children in Worship
At LRBC, we are deeply committed to discipling the next generation for Christ. We aim to partner with you in guiding your children, youth, and older students toward a vibrant, life-giving relationship with God and peers.
Staff and volunteers in our Children’s and Student ministries have a background check performed before they can work with children.
Nursery
Our Nursery workers are passionate about caring for your child. Care is provided for all newborns to 2-year-olds.
Cry Room
The Cry Room is conveniently located in the back of the Worship Center. This space is designed for parents with infants or toddlers who may need a bit more attention during the service.
Hands-On Bible
In Hands-On Bible (HOB) children ages 3 thru Kindergarten will experience powerful connections between scripture and everyday life as they use everyday objects to capture their attention and engage their senses to learn about the Bible.
Children will stay with their families through the first half of the worship service. Once the offertory song is concluded, an announcement will be made for the children to come forward and follow their HOB leaders to their classroom.
Hope Harbor Children’s Church
Hope Harbor is our Children’s Church for children in grades 1-6. Kids start in the worship service with their families and are dismissed after the offering to Hope Harbor.
At Hope Harbor, the focus is to teach the kids to actively pray, read the Bible, and listen to a simpler version of the sermon being preached in the Worship Center. This allows families to follow up with discussions at home since the children’s sermon focuses on the same Bible message. Children will also take home a sermon guide that allows parents to discuss the day’s message with them.
