• Jesus Condemns Those More Committed to Their Way than God’s Command
  • A group of Pharisees and scribes came to find fault with Jesus
  • Jesus pointed out their God-disobeying traditions
• Have a God-Honoring Relationship with Tradition
  • Our traditions can be wonderful things
  • We should critically evaluate out traditions
  • Whenever we realize a tradition goes against God’s will, we must change it
• Hold Firmly to God’s commands in This Ongoing Time of Change
  • The world is changing but out mission never will – make disciples
    • This must be a time of ongoing experimentation, adaptation, and improvisation
