Covenant Class

The Covenant Sunday School/Thrive Group Class meets on Sunday mornings at 9 am. We are a diverse group of men and women – working and retired – who enjoy studying God’s Word and usually partaking of a variety of snacks while we study. We generally use the Lifeway Explore the Bible study guides as the basis for our classes. These quarterly guides take us through the Old and New Testaments and give us a rich and exciting journey through the Bible. While we have one who teaches the lesson, there is much good discussion among the class which enriches the experience. Our studies are also enriched as we have members who are students of Greek and have active mission, prison, and outreach ministries. Our members support one another throughout the week with prayer and conversation (we also have a class text and mail group set up to support needs and facilitate dissemination of information). We have class get-togethers periodically and twice each year as a class we support feeding the Hilda Barg homeless shelter occupants. We are always looking for new members to share in our discussions and enrich our fellowship.

Missing a week? Traveling? We use Zoom on Sunday mornings to allow our group to join us when they are traveling.
