- Balaam Could See the Future But His Donkey Saw the Present More Clearly
- Afraid of the Israelites, King Batak wanted supernatural help
- Initially Balaam was wise
- Then Balaam got greedy and asked again
- His donkey saw what Balaam couldn’t, saving his life (for awhile)
- Don’t Ask God for a Different Answer When He’s Already Clear (verses 19-22)
- Balaam’s first mistake was going back to God when He was already clear
- God, His Word, and His will are unchanging
- Commit to obey God’s revealed word and will in the power of the Holy Spirit
- Keep Your Motives Pure Over Time (verse 32)
- God saw Balaam’s rotten heart
- We’re saved and renewed by grace but out heart and motives still matter and easily stray
