  • For Children of All Ages – Honor and Obedience (verses 1-3)
    • For those still at home – obey your parents (verse 1)
    • For children of all ages – honor your parents and be blessed (verses 2-3)
  • For Parents – Sensitivity, Teaching, and Modeling a Life of Faith (verse 4)
    • Be sensitive and kind – not frustrating, angering, or setting them up for failure
    • Instruction of the Lord: Teach them the Gospel
    • Discipline of the Lord: Model a Gospel-Centered Life
  • For the Church – Help Them!
    • The church doesn’t replace parents, it must partner with parents
