Give to Everyone the Grace God’s Given You

  • Understand the Grace You’ve Received
    • Verse 32 – we can be gracious because of what God has graciously forgiven us in Christ
    • We must truly appreciate the magnitude of all we’ve been forgiven!
  • Always Give Gracious Words
    • We must speak truth (verse 25)
    • But without sinning as we speak (or post)
    • Always speak words that build up rather than rotting (verse 29)
  • Always Have Gracious Hands
    • We must care for the integrity of ALL our actions (verse 28)
    • The purpose of honest work is to share with ANYONE in need
    • There’s real need right now – we must be generous
  • Always Have a Gracious Heart
    • Our words and actions will eventually reflect whatever’s in our hearts
    • Bitterness, wrath, and malice are terrible poisons within us (verse 31)
    • Be tenderhearted and forgiving no matter what (verse 32)
