God Is Still In Control

On this second day of Advent, we celebrate that despite all the ugliness we’ve seen this year, God is Still in Control!

God is Still in Control – Share Christ this Christmas!

God Remains Firmly in Control of Events
- Amidst ruin and royal failure, God gave a promise of Messiah (Isaiah 11:1-2)
- Jesus was born that Messiah (Matthew 3:13-17)
- Jesus has all authority (Matthew 28:18)
God Will Bring About Lasting Justice and Peace Through Christ
- Christ will one day judge everyone in true justice
- Christ’s Kingdom will be one of perfect peace
Because Christ is in Control, We Must Make Disciples
- God’s meticulous control is a wonderful comfort, but isn’t meant to leave us comfortable
- Our most fundamental task as followers of Jesus is to multiply (produce fruit)
