- Myth – God Just Wants Me to Be Happy
- Myth – God Just Wants You to Be Holy
- God Wants Every Person to Delight in Him and His Word (verses 1-3)
- Real happiness won’t be found in the pleasures of sin and the world (verse 1)
- Real blessing is to delight in God and His Word (verse 2)
- When we’re happy in God and Scripture that’s a happiness that can withstand anything this world throws at us (verse 3)
- Lasting Happiness is Only Found in Holiness (verses 4-6)
- Happiness apart from holiness is temporary at best (verse 4)
- For those pursuing happiness without holiness, eternity will be extremely unhappy (verses 5-6)
