Amid the Fall and Curse on Mankind, God Gave Hope – Hope Realized at Christmas

1. Hope Amidst a Curse
   1. The Fall – the perfection of God’s creation damaged by the first sin
   2. The Curse – affecting every single aspect of our lives and relationships
   3. The Hope – in the midst of mankind’s worst day comes verse 15 – the first announcement of the good news – that there was hope for a future
2. Hope Realized – Christmas
   1. The Word Made Flesh at Christmas – Jesus born to proclaim the coming of God’s kingdom and destroy the works of the devil
   2. Christ is  Bruised – the  Crucifixion
   3. The Serpent is Bruised – the Resurrection – Jesus partook of the flesh to destroy the devil (Hebrews 2: 14)
