Having celebrated God’s majesty, we turn now to a very raw and honest psalm expressing the pain we feel when it seems God has completely abandoned us. In Psalm 13, David teaches us how to cry out to God in agony and honesty, while nonetheless expressing trust, joy, and praise for God in the midst of personal despair.
