The final week of Jesus Christ’s earthly ministry, which we often call The Passion Week, was a week of conflict, teaching, and suffering that would change the world forever. Fully one third of the gospel of Mark is devoted to the events of those seven days, that’s how important this week is for disciples of Jesus to understand.
From now until Easter, we’ll look closely at some of these world-changing events as we explore the Week that Saved the World! We begin with a seldom-discussed encounter between Jesus and a group of Gentiles on Palm Sunday. During this encounter Jesus described what would ultimately happen that week.
