- Because sin causes death, lifeblood must be shed for forgiveness (verse 22)
- The new covenant purification of our mind and soul is accomplished through the blood of Jesus

- Jesus redeemed your freedom by His blood (verse 12)
- He earned an eternal inheritance for you (verse 15)

- You were purified for a purpose – to serve God (verse 14)
