Having celebrated the resurrection of our Savior we now delight in the life of the church, the bride of Christ! The four glorious chapters of Paul’s letter to the congregation, pastors, and deacons of the church in Philippi contain some of the most beautiful passages in Scripture about being the church together. Though Paul addresses many great themes in this letter, perhaps the central theme is about ordinary Christians laboring together for the Gospel. As we labor together in strengthened, and transformed by Paul’s joyous and timeless words to the church!
