As we continue to wrestle with how we can glorify God in our 21st century exile, the book of Daniel transitions from the familiar stories we know and love to a series of extremely strange apocalyptic visions, the first of which introduces us to Jesus’ favorite title for Himself. Though we cannot fully understand every detail of these visions, God was making critical and timeless points that resonate powerfully within our uniquely challenging cultural moment.
