Almost everyone involved in the Christmas story was filled to overflowing with joy because of their encounter with the divine. Sadly for us in Northern Virginia, joy can be in short supply in 2018. This Advent, let us experience that sense of overwhelming joy for ourselves as we come in contact with Jesus Christ in anticipation of Christmas. We begins with Mary and the extraordinary joy she expressed through one of the most extraordinary songs recorded in Scripture. In truth though, her words in this song are just as true for every one of us who follows Christ – let’s make Mary’s Song Our Song!
Scripture Reference
Luke 1: 46-55
