We come at last to the Day the World Changed. After the extraordinary events of the Week that Changed the World, we rejoice to come to the very day that everything changed because Jesus rose from the dead. He is alive!

What Happened? (verses 36-43)

1. Jesus died, but there were reports He was alive
2. Jesus appeared – and the disciples were terrified and doubting (verses 36-38)
3. Jesus calmed them and proved His bodily resurrection (verses 39-43) – doubt became joy

What Now? (verses 44-49)

1. The World Changed – all of Scripture fulfilled (verses 44-47)
   1. The good news for all -repentance and forgiveness
   2. John 11: 25-26, 1 Corinthians 15: 20-22 – why this matters
2. Proclaim It! (verses 47-49)
   1. This is good news meant to be shared with everyone
   2. The power of the Holy Spirit was for them and is for us to proclaim it
   3. Our world needs this transformation and hope
