Where
- Exodus 34: 6 – Mercy might be God’s most fundamental attitude
- 3-5 describes the emptiness of a person – follows hunger for righteousness – descriptions about how righteousness abounds in the heart
- Comes from the heart that first felt spiritual bankruptcy – broken person
- Comes from God (Romans 9: 16) DIVINE
What
- Define it/Characteristic of it
- Matthew 9: 10-13 (opposite) – Mercy not sacrifice (Hosea 6: 6). Brief; ceremonial problem

- Greek word means to put on the skin of the other person
