We have now come to the end of our series “Adventures of the New Testament Church”. We’re looking at life everlasting in the new heaven and the new earth t his week. By this point in Revelation, death and hell have been destroyed. The new heaven, new earth, and new Jerusalem have come down from heaven. There is no temple in the new Jerusalem, because God makes His home in the city.

When we refer to life everlasting or eternal life, this is what we’re talking about!!

1. Where We Will Be For Eternity
   1. New Creation = Reversal of the Fall = The Perfection of Eden
      We must understand Genesis 1-3 to really understand this, because the end of the Bible is the complete renewal of creation to reverse the Fall and its effects.

       

      1. The River of Life
      2. The Tree of Life
      3. The Reversal of the Curse
   2. Presence of God – the reversal of Exodus 33: 20 (if you see God’s face you die)
2. What We Will Do for Eternity
   Many think heaven will be boring with endless harp playing, but no!

    

   1. We Will Serve/Worship (verses 3c, 4b)
   2. We Will Reign With Christ (verse 5)
