Through Christ We Receive God’s Promise of His Forgiveness Today, His Power Every Day, and His Presence Forever
- God’s Promises Don’t Depend On Our Obeying the Law
- God’s Promises Predate the Jewish Law (verses 15-18) – His promises are ironclad
- The Jewish Law Didn’t Give Promises – it was a temporary measure to reveal mankind’s sin and need for a Savior (verses 19-21)
- The Promises of God are given through faith in Christ (verse 22)
- We Receive God’s Promises Through Faith in Christ
- Through Christ, We Receive God’s Forgiveness Today (verse 21): Life and righteousness through faith in Christ (John 3: 16-18)
