As we arrive at one of the more interesting passages in Galatians, we begin to reflect on what it means to live a full life in Christ, recognizing that our lives are marathons not sprints, and so we need to ground our lives properly in Christ and the Holy Spirit to live faithful lives that glorify God.

Cling to the Cross and Live to Love
- Cling to the Cross (verses 7-12)
- Christian life is a marathon, not a sprint – run well by faith and the Spirit (verses 7-10)
- Cling to the cross all your days (verses 11-12) – Paul faithfully preaches the offense of the cross (1 Corinthians 2: 1-6, 1: 23) not a weird version of Judaism
- Live to Love & Serve (verses 13-15)
- Our freedom has a purpose -> to love and serve (verse 13) not indulge the flesh (verses 19-21). Have the mind of Christ (Philippians 2: 3-5)
- We must love our neighbors (verse 14)
- And live in peace with one another (verse 15) by the Spirit (verse 16)
