Sermon Notes

Faithfulness to Your One is Eternally Important

  • God’s Great Reversal of Fortune (Luke 16:19-31)
    • Jesus tells of an unrighteous, wealthy man to an audience of unrighteous, wealthy Pharisees (verses 19-21)
    • God reverses their fortunes in death (verses 22-26)
    • The rich man asks Lazarus to warn his family to repent
  • Repentance is Required, the Alternative is Awful
    • Hell isn’t a popular subject, but it’s real, it’s terrible, and it’s forever
    • Only repentance in Christ avoids the torments of Hell
  • Remain Faithful to Share With Your One!
    • Apart from Jesus, the experience of the rich man is what awaits our Ones
    • Though our public emphasis will diminish for a few months, the work of Who’s Your One must continue
