• The Time Had Come for the New Exodus to Begin (verses 12-23)
  • The crowd welcomed Jesus as the Messiah, the Christ
  • Jesus’ time had finally come to launch the new Exodus
• It Was Necessary for Jesus to Die (verse 24)
  • This exodus also begins with the death of the Firstborn
  • His death is like the planting of a seed that bears the fruit of life
• Follow Jesus! (verses 25-26)
  • Grace saves us but the saved are called to follow Jesus
  • We’re called to a life of sacrifice
