• All Governments Are Instituted By Our Sovereign God (verses 1-3)
  • Governments, good and bad, are established by God
  • Christians must submit to governing authorities (with one exception)
• God Has Given Governments Special Powers Individuals Don’t Have (verse 4)
  • Governments have different powers and authorities from people
  • Christians may serve their nation and neighbors in government
• Be a Transformed Citizen (verses 5-7)
  • A transformed citizen works within the system of government
  • Have financial integrity with the government
  • Respect and pray for ALL governing officials
