Trunk or Treat Ministry

A Welcoming In Ministry

Trunk-or-Treat

LRBC’s annual Trunk-or-Treat is an expression of our love for our community and an opportunity for our neighbors to become more familiar with our church and its ministries. We’re delighted that this event has grown to connect with hundreds of our neighbors each year.

This year we will once again host Trunk-or-Treat, on Thursday, October 31 from 5:30-6:30 pm.

How Can You Help?

  • Donate bags of individually wrapped candies in the dropoff bins in the Main Entrance or foyer of the Worship Center (during the month of October)
  • Sponsor a trunk-or-treat car. Setup time for Trunk or Treat will be at 4:30 pm (please enter through the Clipper Drive entrance).
  • Volunteer for added needs such as traffic monitors, etc.
NOTE: The Lake Ridge Baptist Church doesn’t make commercial or political endorsements nor do we permit any implied endorsement by our church. We ask that everyone providing a trunk respect the event’s purpose. If you wish to speak directly to guests about a product, business, or political candidate while distributing candy,  you may. We respectfully ask that no printed literature be distributed and that there be no microphones, megaphones, speakers, etc. used for amplifying your voice or message.

Please register for a trunk-or-treat spot or to volunteer as event staff.

Ways to Volunteer

You can choose to setup your car trunk and we will reserve a space for you.

We will also need some roaming volunteers to help with directions to those attending, etc.
