We now begin the second half of Ephesians, as Paul transitions from the glorious truths of who we are in Christ to explain how we need to live as the church in light of who we are. We begin by considering how to walk through this challenging season called life.

Gathered or Scattered, We Must Walk Worthy As One

  • Walk Worthy of Who You Are in Christ
    • Walk in light of who you are (chapters 1-3)
    • Elements of a worthy walk (verse 2) – humility, gentleness, patience, bearing with one another
    • This is only possible through the Holy Spirit – not on your own strength
  • Walk as One in Christ
    • Make every effort to maintain unity (verse 3)
    • The seven “ones” – body, Spirit, hope, Lord, faith, baptism, God & Father
